I love this little dive of a place! The thin crust pizza is great and the Carpenter Joe's sandwich is THE BEST!!! Warning - on Friday and Saturdays it can get packed so get there early!

A great place to grab a beer and a burger in town. Nothing fancy here, just good food, good service and cheap prices. Big booths, small bar, friendly atmosphere. Their burgers and pizza are awesome, and the onion rings and homemade soups are totally worth a try. They also make a mean bloody mary. Great little local dive bar, without the seedy dive bar feel. It feels more like family!

Matt is the sh-t. Try his margaritas. Their pizza is one of my favorites in town. I also find myself craving the Landmark salad with Buffalo chicken. It's a townie bar but a goodie bar. Cozy. Affordable. Family-run. Tight-knit. Bonus: I heard the building was an old war post during the revolution and George Washington stayed there. Questionable I suppose, but there are alot of trinkets and posters from that era decorationg the walls and I like what they add to the place.

Thanks for making us feel welcome!! Agree with all the tips on the thin crust pizza. They also make great salads and even better if you ask for the frizzled onions to top it off (ok not the healthiest salad). Always hustling and bustling especially on the weekend but we don't mind the noise level at all because it is the non-pretense type of crowd! Full bar.

Best place in town. Everyone talks about the ribs and pizza, which are great. But they also make the most awesome fish and chips anywhere! The Landmark is our "go to" restaurant, hands down. Even though The Landmark features a bar, it's overwhelmingly known as a family place as well.

The last time I was in New Jersey, I had the chance to go to the Landmark. The next time, I'm going back. The pesto pizza was awesome, with a crispy crust and just the right mix of flavors. The atmosphere was like a pub, warm and fun and none too serious, with the option for outside seating if the weather is good. The prices were very reasonable, especially for the amount of food you get ( alot! ). It may look like a shack, but the Landmark's humble exterior hides one of the best hangouts I've had in New Jersey. Now I'm actually looking forward to the next time I have to go back!

This cozy Landmark serves awesome ribs and pizza! The prices are fair, the bartenders and wait staff are attentive. The Landmark is definitely worth a visit. It can get crowded at times, particularly during football, but the food is worth it.

God how I miss places like this! I used to work near it so I had my share of great meals from this place. Staff is great, food is awesome and the beer is cold.

Everyone loves The Landmark. This place is simply amazing. They have been there for years serving up good eats and drinks. The buffalo chicken pizza is amazing. The sweet potato fries are wonderful. The burgers are good. The ribs are out of this world. This place is kind of odd in some ways. During the day and dinner time its more of a family place. But then the boys and girls come out to play and bartenders serve up cold beers and stiff drinks as people playfully eye each other across the bar. If you check it out you won't be disappointed.

Landmark is probably my favorite place in Essex County where I was raised and taught the value of a mom and pop joint vs. generic chain. That said, this is always on the top of the list when Mom is out of town and it's me and Pop going to grab a bite and a brew. It is a unique little dive in otherwise pretentious Livingston. The service and clientelle is always friendly, the food is unbelievably cheap and they are always on point from the nachos to burgers to pizza, fries, specials or anything else. THE BEER OF THE WEEK is one of those stupid little things to look forward to before you even start thinking about the menu. Don't let the shack on the side of the road exterior fool you, this is absolutely somewhere you want to come in to eat and drink. They recently upgraded to 8 flatscreens making catching a game here much more enjoyable. Landmark also gets my vote for Most Improved since the smoking ban. Even then, it was worth enduring just to get a great meal!

Five enthusiastic stars for this tiny little dive bar/red shack hiding on Route 10 in Livingston! In a world filled with chains and corporate feeling family joints, The Landmark is a true original. Unassuming, unpretentious and perfect. Its roomier inside than it looks outside, but it fills up fast. Late nights are filled in the summer with softball teams coming for a drink after the game but its always a good crowd and upbeat. Great jukebox too. The drink prices are reasonable and the bartenders are great. But the real highlight is the food. Who would expect to find some of the best pizza in NJ in this tiny bar? Whether you get the plain pie or one of their more unique offerings, you will love it and it comes out fresh and hot. I usually hate creative but my god the shrimp scampi pizza with tiny little heavily garliced shrimps is outstanding. And the white clam pizza is also great. The ribs are as good as you're going to get in NJ. Other notable menu items - the homemade potato chips, sweet potato fries and another unexpected surprise - GREAT SALADS! They have a mexican dressing that I can't remember the name of, but YUM!! Good lunch spot. Damn, now I'm hungry.
